Intracom is supporting the next generation of leaders in space exploration by donating a VCOM system to Carnegie Mellon University’s Mission Control. On Thursday, May 4 the United Launch Alliance (ULA) plans to launch two university projects to the moon. These projects include Iris, a lunar rover created by CMU students, and MoonArk, a sculpture collaboration led by faculty, alumni, and students. The lightweight and compact design of Iris makes it ideal for lunar exploration, while MoonArk is an artistic expression of the university’s innovative spirit. Both projects will be transported to the moon aboard the Vulcan Centaur rocket.
More information about the project is available here.
